About Rock Pillars
It all started in Siberia, and Russia's rock pillars hidden in the middle of Taifa.
Because the peach granite is always found by climbers and explorers.
Over time, a unique way of climbing was developed here. It is a kind of rock Boulder, but it is on 200m's rock pillars.
A group of climbers began to produce rock climbing shoes for themselves. They worked with rubber technicians and the latest skilled shoemakers.
The first pair of rock climbing shoes was produced in 1988.
At that time, the young Evgeniy Ovtchinikov (who was wearing the famous pictures of climbing climbing shoes of ROCK PILLARS originally developed in the Heinz Zak climbing star book) was still training. After 3 years of training, he took part in their first World Cup competition in Italy Clusone, and unexpectedly got third.
I was in Evgeniy's first European competition, and I met him after a Siberia climbing trip.
I started naming climbing shoes with those magic pillars. At that time, I worked as an automobile engineer, and producing seat belts was my hobby.
For me, it is a great challenge to test the results of rock climbing shoes that I have developed with my ideas and techniques.
After the great success of Evgeniy, some other young climbers began to wear ROCK PILLARS rock climbing shoes - Elena Ovtchinikov, Salavat Rakhmetov, Olga Bibik, and some other climbers.
In 1994, I made shoes in the long history of Czech (Bata was produced here) and fell to my production site.
In the same year, the first rock climbing shoes were displayed in the first outdoor exhibition in Friedrichshafen, Germany.
We started a series of production of climbing shoes. Over the past 10 years, we have produced tens of thousands of pairs of climbing shoes and have spread around the world.
We are continuing to develop and test the basic structure of some climbing shoes, as well as rubber with longer life and better viscosity.
Top rock climbers are always the same level and always replace each other.
We have gathered and sponsored some rock climbers who have gained great experience in climbing and competition.
Last year, Tomas Mrazek won the world championships and the legendary veterans Salavat Rakhmetov won the world championships boulder champion.
