USDA US Cotton Export

 

The following US cotton export sales weekly is based on

Exporter

Report submitted on -16 September 10, 2010.


The net sales of 505100 cotton bags decreased by 11% compared with last week, but increased by 46% compared with the average weekly sales.

The increase in the number of buyers of the report includes China (187800 packages, including 500 packages of cotton pferred from Korea and 3000 packages), Turkey (168900 pack), Mexico (52100 pack), Pakistan (34800 pack), Indonesia (13300 packages, including 700 packets of cotton pferred from Japan), and Peru (11000 pack).

The number of reports decreased in Columbia (5100 packages) and in Korea (200 packages).

2011/12, net sales of 53300 packages, the main buyer is Turkey (46300 packets).

The number of reports decreased in Columbia (25200 bales).


The report was exported by Turkey (34300 bales) and China (1800 packages) in its own name.

Upland cotton

Exports of 112900 packages increased by 24% compared with last week, but the average export volume decreased by 39% over the four weeks.

The main destinations are Mexico (30500 bales), China (26300 packages), Vietnam (13800 packs), and Turkey (5600 packages).


The United States Pima cotton net sales of 16300 packs, 10% less than last week, but the average four weeks.

Sales volumes

An increase of 22%.

The number of reports increased mainly in China (5900 bales), Japan (4100 packages), India (3100 packs), and Thailand (1900 packages).


2011/12 net sales of 2000 packages, the buyer is Japan


Pima cotton exports 300 packages, the destination is India.
