Subsidies Can Be Obtained For Hainan Enterprises To Create Their Own Brands.

The Hainan provincial chamber of Commerce recently issued a notice on brand development funds, and decided to provide financial support for the enterprise brand development projects that have been completed in the first half of 2007 to 2011. The five types of projects, such as domestic and foreign trade marks, patent registration and so on, will be supported by enterprises in order to create goods and service brands, and the total support of each enterprise will reach up to 400 thousand yuan.

Fund management method

"Brand development funds are supported by enterprise projects: first, domestic and foreign trademark and patent registration for the creation of goods and service brands; acquisition of pfer fees and notarization fees of well-known brands both inside and outside the country.

The two is the participation of famous brand enterprises in the domestic and international brand exhibitions sponsored by the provincial or above units, and the booth fees and public exhibition fees of international famous exhibitions.

The three is the cost of legal proceedings, arbitration and agency for the protection of intellectual property rights.

Four is the international market (national or regional) entry requirements of product certification, such as ISO9000 series quality management system standard certification, ISO14000 series of environmental management system certification, OHSAS18000 occupational health and safety management system certification, SA8000 social responsibility standard certification and other industry certification fees.

Five is to guide and promote key industries related to the national economy and people's livelihood and important independent brand building activities.

The conditions for the enterprise to apply for brand development funds include registration and independence in Hainan province.

Corporate qualification

A domestic or domestic holding enterprise; an enterprise's product or service brand is an enterprise's own brand and registered trademarks at the provincial level administrative departments for Industry and commerce; it has a sound financial management system and a good financial standing; it has a record of operating and paying taxes in accordance with the law and no bad faith; the sales revenue of enterprises has increased for three consecutive years; the brand appraised by the Ministry of Commerce, the Chinese time-honored brand and the brand establishment and demonstration enterprises identified by the Hainan Provincial Department of Commerce, and the famous brand products of Hainan province.

Project support

The proportion is not more than 50%, the support limit of a single project is 200 thousand yuan, and the total support of each enterprise is not more than 400 thousand yuan.

Government projects supported by other government funds can not be repeated to apply for financial support.

Eligible enterprises can apply to the Provincial Department of Commerce before October 30th of this year.
