In March 2019, the twenty-first Asia international textile dye and chemical Exhibition (Dyestuff & Chemical Asia) will be held in Karachi.

The world bank data show that from 2005 to 2016, Pakistan's overseas textile shipments increased by only 27%, while sales in Bangladesh and Vietnam increased by 276% and 445% in the same period, and those two countries did not produce cotton.

Why are shipments of overseas textiles high in these countries?

Zhou Rong, a senior researcher at Chongyang Financial Research Institute, Renmin University of China, said Bangladesh and Vietnam did very well in marketing. They knew how to sell and sell their products to western countries. They would launch products according to market demand and take the initiative to seek opportunities.

In terms of marketing skills, Pakistan's textile industry needs to learn from Vietnam and Bangladesh.
