China Textile Engineering Society Intends To Set Up A Popular Science Education Base.

Recently, the China Textile Engineering Society issued a notice to set up a popular science education base of China Textile Engineering Society.

The purpose of the establishment of the base is to build a popular science education base of China Textile Engineering Society through cooperation with the social organizations with good foundation of science popularization talents and good results in science popularization.

The circular pointed out that eligible universities, research institutes, enterprises and institutions and their related entities could declare.

The declaration unit has a full-time leader who is responsible for the construction of the base. There are not less than 2 full-time staff members, but not less than 5 experts in science communication.

The declaring units should formulate plans for science popularization and annual science popularization work, with supporting funds.

It can produce outstanding science works suitable for the Internet and new media, and ensure the scientificity and authority of popular science works.

The electronic version must be submitted before March 17, 2019, and the paper version must be submitted in March 24, 2019.
