Li Aiping, who grew up in the story of "general tiger", has always loved her. In the past ten years, she has gone through more than 300 villages in the county. She consulted the 100 year old man to teach skills, set up a women training class, hand in hand to teach "general tiger" to make skills, and accumulated a total investment of 3 million yuan, eventually saving this ancient and exquisite craftsmanship of folk handicrafts, the general tiger.

In July 20, 2018, under the joint testimony of Shanxi Textile Management Office and many leading guests of Shanxi clothing association, "the first China Textile heritage Promotion Ambassador - Li Aiping Institute" was established. Since then, the Institute has taken root, and the successor of "general tiger" has its own home.

Li Aiping believes that as a guardian of the traditional skills of "general tiger", she bears great responsibilities, and the establishment of the Institute has more forcefully urged her to become a practitioner to inherit her mission.

In the future work, the Institute will build a broader platform for the inheritance and development of the "general tiger", and let the textile remains the new skills of increasing the income of women in the new era, and compose a new chapter for the overall promotion of cultural competitiveness.

At present, the Institute has established the school enterprise cooperation relationship with Taiyuan University of Technology, Taiyuan Normal University, Shanxi Media College, Shanxi Agricultural University Information College and other institutions of higher learning, and has carried out provincial customs related activities at Taiyuan University of Technology, Zuo Quan Siyuan experimental school and South Street School.

The origin of "general tiger"

Zuo Quan county, formerly known as Liaoxian County, Shanxi Province, is located in the middle part of Taihang Mountains with beautiful scenery and pleasant scenery.

This is a land of heroic blood stained red. During the war of resistance against Japan, the Eight Route Army headquarters was stationed here for 5 years, known as "red little Yanan".

In 1942, the general manager of the Eight Route Army, general Zuo Quan, died bravely at the cross ridge of Matian, where he brought the cloth tiger with the local people to him.

After the founding of new China, the central government decided to rename Liao County as Zuo Quan county in memory of general Zuo Quan.
